Are there other aspects
that are explicitly proscibed? If so, maybe they would be candidates for omission. I guess I've just never become aware of them. But if you have such candidates, maybe you should nominate them.

As for ActiveX, it's not clear what its inclusion would accomplish. What kind of penalty would you assess for failure to handle ActiveX? I'm fairly confident I have not downloaded ActiveX for the computers at home, and I'm certain the new machine at the office doesn't have it, and yet this so-called lack has no discernable effect on the efficacy of the browser. Admittedly, they can't update Windows, that's what IE is for. But when we're talking about browsing the internet, the merit is dubious.

On the whole, ActiveX has the look of a null addition.
