Cookies, necessary or Evil!
These things are used for good and for bad this is entirely up to the coded that makes and uses the information stored. I have gone to great lengths to ensure that only the cookies that I NEED to access the applications and sites that contain everyday type stuff. I have had several different kinds of software on my system to control these critters. Now I am using Spydoctor in conjunction with EZ Firewall. Togeather these two seem to have the problem under control.
