Why?
It is the same story with most small businesses. Even if you have an airtight case, the case can be dragged through the courts for so long that you are out of business before the trial even starts. It is better to settle. Yes, they could have gotten ALOT more, but they did not want to risk it. Heck, $60M is nothing to sneeze at.

I do think it is unfortunate that they settled. I would have loved to see this one go through.
