Yes, Microsoft likes the idea of utility computing, as long as,
there are no standards and you have to use Microsoft computers on both ends. But, then they could set the prices as high as they wanted.

To get the advantages of utility computing, we need an open OS like Linux, or an open language that runs everywhere, like Java. Ok, Sun needs to be a little more open about Java.
