Utility? For whom?
JS sees the day when every single item owned and carried by an individual, from a pack of gum to their car will have an RFID tag or an IP address. Everything about everyone will be knowable and known by someone and everyone. What you're wearing today. Where you are, where you've been, and where you're going.

You'll know the day has arrived the first time you read about a criminal that was caught because of the GPS in his cell phone or his RFID "image" (e.g., the combination of his jacket, shoes, Walmart discount card, etc. as he drives through an E-Z Pass toll booth). I bet it happens within 5 years.

What's next?

RFID SPOOFING!!
