It would be nice to use existing technology, but
the industry has decided to obsolete current technologies every three years or less. They force the issue by making new products incompatible with the current products. With this current MO, products have no time to mature and thus the IT is in a constant state of upheaval.

The IT industry will cause its own fall because of its greed centered MO instead of customer centered. This article is just more of the rhetoric which spews daily from the IT industry as it bilks the consumer for its own benefit. This will eventually cause irreppairable harm to everyone. But it will prove to be simple suicide for the IT industry as their credibility erodes to nothing!
