Is there any reason
why Yahoo can't come up with their own software which works on the iPod?

Theoretically I wasn't supposed to be able to use my iPod Shuffle because I use Linux, yet I do because of GNUpod 0.98 (and amaroK as my front end). Although I've yet to look into buying songs for Apple's store, so I don't know if DRMed songs will work.
