14 Years I think is fine
I mean if you can't make money off it 14 years then tough.

Take books. You have 14 years to try and sell it. If it doesn't work then it goes public. You may see in 25 years later your first work suddenly appeals to a new age of readers. That book will only help you sell more current books you've written.

Sure it would be nice to write book once let it sit there for 150 years and when you are long dead it goes popular and your estate cleans up but how does that benifit society in general?
