Sort of
Remember though, that allofmp3 is not paying the same level of royalties that all of the other music stores have to pay. Due to vagaries in the Russian law, they only have to pay a pittance to their local version of the RIAA, and they don't have to get permission from record labels. Because of this, their overhead is going to be vastly lower, and the sales will result in pretty much pure profit. This differs from the other sites operating more in line with the law, who have to pay the majority of what they take in to the record companies.

But you do raise a good point--can you make more in volume with lower costs? We'll never know, though, as this site isn't about to report their earnings, and will probably be illegal fairly soon.

I suggest artists to take this business in their own hands. No more parasites: no RIAA, no ..., no copyrighted song---

Mostly agreed here, except for the last bit. Copyrights do serve a purpose and are good things, it's just that we've taken them to such an absurd extreme length of time that they're out of control. Cut them back to 14 years, and we're good to go as far as I'm concerned. Also, keeping them in the hands of the artists is also a much smarter way to go, as far as improving and growing our culture.
