while the article does describe making a transaction secure, it doesn't really mention making the card itself secure from duplication. that would be my concern. it used to be that to steal your credit card someone had to pick your pocket. then it became all they needed was the number, which has now expanded to the number, expiration date and security code (three digit number on the back of the card), and, in a few cases, a special password assigned by you. tomorrow, all they'll need is a small device that they can place close to your pocket to read the data off the card.
