FCC and MPAA = Idiots and liars
These days, it seems that the FCC will do just about anything to ensure that big business earns every dime possible, even at the expense of the consumer. Not surprising though considering who our President is.

And the MPAA whines that "the threat of Internet piracy would imperil the future of digital TV" unless our recorders are allowed to be controlled by broadcasters. You know what? If it is that big of a problem, DON'T broadcast your programs! How much you wanna bet that someone not as greedy as the MPAA comes along to fill the void.

If I record a show on my DVR and want to take it along on my notebook for later viewing, I should sure as hell be able to do it. Instead, I'll be forced to sit in my living room to watch it if the MPAA and the FCC have their way. Ridiculous.

Rather than allow the millions of consumers to fair use of their own recording devices, the government wants to give control over to the MPAA and similar scumbags.
