If you want to punish the end user...
...that's your right, but don't cry foul when it hurts your business.

Let the end user engage in that kind of changing or they're going to start shopping elsewhere.

Don't like it? Make it so they don't WANT to!
Make it easier for them. If you try to treat the customer as a captive, you're going to find out that you have less customers.

If you treat the customer well and give him what he wants, he's going to stick around REGARDLESS of what the Google toolbar has. He might not even bother installing it!

Remember, it's OPT IN.

Don't like it, make it so people don't have a use for it.
