You can Google cannot
If you choose to make changes to content on your PC, that's fine. As long as you don't try to publish it and it is copyrighted. In fact, that is what Google is doing. It is NOT the end user making the changes. Whether it takes place on your PC or not. Boiled down to it's simplest terms, it is Google re-rendering the pages. How long you think it will be before it gets hijacked? No matter how you try to justify this, it's wrong. If MS was doing this, you'd be singing another toon and we all know it.
