W3C too slow
The W3C standards body is simply too slow at adopting and standardizing technologies. How long have behaviors (or action sheets) been on the drawing board and not adopted (even though Microsoft has had them for about 6 years)?

If W3C doesn't start moving faster they will be irrelevant.
