every form being the same for every business anyway. If propriety is 'playing on the web they could at least lay them on the table at the W3C. If of course your doing your own thing,dont see as clients/web cant work with that as well.

When it is the browser that is the question. Again their are going to be more of them. Thats a given. Probably would be a good idea to tell the browser,and user when the form is IS NOT compatible the user. If any kind of description,or rule.

Proprieties arent going to put all their stuff on the table anyway. W3C could probably look at what they've got. Then work with that. Proprieties are going to. Still they'll will have to work together,or decide how to make the difference noticable at least be observable of an incompatability.To the participants.
