Pop-up killer = Gator killer
Gators shift in strategy must surely be due to the fact that the new generation of browsers feature effective pop-up blocking, which is enabled by standard.
I really hope they dont start using even more shady techniques - i.e. ads that cover search boxes, or huge java ads, to replace pop-ups.
Personally I would like to congratulate Gator (ot whatever they have mutated into) for severely irritating more people on a global plan than any other business in history and more or less getting away with it.
