Is allofmp3.com a legal alternative?
Two interesting articles on whether the Russian downloading services are actually legal or not--from what I can tell, it's still a grey area. These services are much cheaper, and offer higher quality files with no DRM. I'm not willing to break the law or infringe copyright, but these articles are food for thought:
