RSS 2.0 is what podcasting is based on. So what will RSS 3.0 contain. Who's working on it? Dave Winer, Adam Curry, Microsoft?
Dave Winer is talking up OPML a lot these days and the link to RSS is very close. He being the person who came up with both ideas.
OPML will very soon make a lot of noise outside of the blogsphere and the implications for businesses has not as yet been thought through. Sharing what you subscribe/listen too i.e your OPML list and then having a recommendation feature in OPML on what else to listen too based on other similar people's OPML lists is going to be the next evolution.
