So now they'll be able top block all encrypted files?
Even perfectly legally traded ones? Sorry. Even if one legal file, encrypted or not, gets blocked they will be sued so badly it'll make their heads spin.

Some of these P2P programs have a feature which allows you to share with friends only, kind of like a buddy list. Suppose you and your new bride want to share a video of your wedding night with your friends (hey, some people are kinky!) but you want to make sure only your friends can watch. The obvious thing to do is to both keep it shared with friends only and to encrypt it so only they can read it. What right does the MPAA have to block that legal trade? Answer: None. It would be illegal for them to do so. And it's a lot easier to prove someone infringed on your right to trade legal files than it is to prove copyright infringement.
