Smudged fingerprints and data packing
wouldn't one of the Macrovision or SunnComm tricks of data (error) packing throw off fingerprinting anyways, or encryption, or data blending, especially in a point to point transfer. Either way, a new weapon for the "business" studios will be countered with a new weapon for the "pirates" and the whole mess is just offputting.
