License download
As I have said before, you need to buy a LICENSE for a certain song - and THAT is what you "own" for perpetuity. If you download a song, pay 88 cents, and then your computer goes on the fritz and you lose that file - do you have to pay 88 cents to get it again? You shouldn't have to - your license should entitle you to get that song from ANYWHERE. You would have the LICENSE to use it for personal use, so it doesn't matter how you came to possess the MP3.
