Seen who was already on the committee?
I don't know if Weatherbug has changed, but there was no option to turn it off. It started with Windows unless you used config.
Weatherbug was a committee member.

I agree with you about spyware; hijacking is an offense. My concern was with companies which received authorization from the user, and gave a service in return for their money-making activities. And those activities did not involve more than serving up ads.

Until the law is clear and enforced in every country, I still think some restrictions are better than none.
