- Yahoo's Contextual Search would be a great idea if it actually worked. I can't get it to do anything. I was really excited by it because I hate search engines. I thought this would be different than a Google, but it is not. I thought the idea of contextual search was that it would understand what I am looking for rather than me having to find new ways of describing the same thing. But, no. This kind of search just complicates things even more. Not only do I have to highlight, then I need to refine, then I STILL need to surf through all the returned links...most of which are of no relevance to my topic. I am very disappointed.
