Cookie fans chip away at spyware bill

Indeed so: I looked at an unnamed piece of commercial software that did a pretty good job except for one thing. It identified a cookie named "passport.exe" as spyware. Passport.exe may be a piece of MS spyware but you can't get at your Hotmail through IE without it.
