My Complaint with MS
Based on your feedback, we have designed the new MSN.com home page to be faster, simpler, and more organized. We've also made MSN Search more precise and powerful, so you can quickly find the information you?re looking for.

Well, based on this quote from Bill, he is trying to make MSN Search simpler and better than the competition, but when it comes to the initial start page of google, I am greeted with 1 small graphic, 11 links, Two words of text that are by themselves and a tag line indicating the year and how many pages are being searched. Until MSN gets simpler than that for our 3rd world Users, I don't see them winning the market.

Microsoft's idea of simplicity is oxymoronic to the real concept behind simplicity. Making the interface look pretty isn't always the best way to get things done. But for some reason, people feel that a computer is no longer scary if it looks nice.

I will say this, atleast this version of MSN search seems to be less bias than previously, bravo to that. Still, they have alot of work to do before they get to where Google is.
