RIAA sues 717 file-swappers

Paying for convience isn't irrational though: I'd say when you buy a bottle of water you paying for covience, quality, and ease of use.

This would be similiar to those buying music online. It's convient, guaranteed quality, and easy to use save DRM. I know many people who spend a lot of time trying to access scrambled satalite signals. Where I pay for my TV content I never miss a show I want due to being bumped out.

I don't really consider the trading of content all that illegal and I feel the government and business should just let the market sort things out. For example: if you want to sell CDs of music don't sell just digital 1s and 0s, add something to the CD. Make it worth buying. Give me something collectable, add a concert discounts, or give me offers for merchandise only purchasable with reciept.
