What?s wrong when someone buys a dvd or a new album and exchange it with something he doesn?t have, nothing it his/her right, and even if they gave it to a friend online with out taking anything from him there is nothing illegal in that. Even if everything is now online free of charge it?s not our problem that those companies didn?t have what it takes to ensure the scarcity of their products once they become abundant they are no longer economic goods and I cannot find anything more abundant than those records and dvds on the almost known to all decentralized Bit Torrent networks that thousands of people or even millions have access to..

I am sorry this is not stealing this is just a law of nature that has been noticed over history and then placed as a fundamental law and origin of economic theory. And America has a free market economy policy, which denies the government the right to intervene in market forces. If the Supreme Court rules for the record companies it would be unconstitutional. For a good or a service to be treated as an economic good it has to be scarce. And if I am offering a good that became abundant, I shouldn?t go cry to the government to insure that no one could have this service unless I sell it to them telling them that if they don?t do that the American economy would be in great danger. This is not how free market economies function. If the record companies won their case it won?t only be unconstitutional it will also be denying the plenty (majority) the right to enjoy what is free to ensure that the record companies (a handful no. of people) are able to exploit them in the way they use to in the past.
