We live in an insane society
Common sense is free but people pay others to give them advice that is purely common sense, and they knew it all along.

We live in a world of marketing. Marketing tells us that you get what you pay for. So if it's free it can't be good. Take water for example. Is bottle water any better than what you get from the tap? Nope, it's not. I know, worked with that field. What you can run into though is bad pipes that taint you water but if that's the case put in filtration system or replace all your pipes. Fitration is cheaper and even cheaper yet in the short term is bottled water but the ROI on a filtration system give free water after a couple of year.

So you can buy a CD or you invest in PC with Internet and after a couple years you get free music.

Why is that water companies can convince us that to buy thier product instead of investing in our own fitration system? Why is that Microsoft can convince that to buy thier OS instead of getting a free OS? It's marketing. You know that sayings "selling snow to eskimos" or "selling sand to Saudies". Good marketing can get you pay for the air you breath.
