I disagree
with your statement that we have the most repressive yadda yadda. Without attempting to spark a political debate, there are several countries in the world that treat their people worse than can be imagined. Any government that says it's illegal for me to have sex while I'm unmarried and will put me to death if I am caught is very repressive. Don't you agree?

I do agree however, that we (meaning U.S. residents) have allowed the greedy corps. and government to take over our lives. Few of us even try to change things anymore within our governments. Few of us try to get corporate laws changed.

I don't know where you live, but I myself am ashamed that us Americans have allowed this country to go into the cesspool.

We are definately a democratic / capitalist nation that has no control whatsoever.
