If they surveyed 2000 people whose majority said they were switching to Linux, you'd be quoting that everywhere as the beginning of the end of MS.

On the Bush front, you know they did survey more than simply a group of greasy toothless violently religious rednecks (assuming you don't count all Americans in that group), and the majority apparently liked Bush better than any other options. That particular survey was called an election. Not that I necessarily voted for Bush, but it does show how your argument may be working against your position.
