Not the same at all
There used to be a dozen of these services before the .com bubble burst that only did this. XDrive.com was one if I remember. They give the user 100MB for storage. The owner of that storage has to set up accounts for the other users to access the stored data. It's not anonimous because there is a AOL user account it is attached to, and it is not open to public consumption like Kazaa. You would have to tell someone that they can take files from you, and give them an account to do it. To say it another way, it would be more like riping your CD, putting it on a secure server, and sharing it on your LAN/WAN.
