Giants' new plans for Net radio

I'm thinking it's another sign of the impact of satellite radio.

Outfits like Clear Channel need to do something to get into a market where (1) there's not more commercial time than program time, and (2) they don't have to be so concerned with fines for naughty content and the attendent censorship.

Item 1 wouldn't be necessary if they weren't so flaming greedy and they would break up these big multi-station outfits, and item 2 wouldn't be necessary if they had the guts to stand up to the FCC.
