Oh that's a bogus statement
The teacher of grade 3 class some 30+ years ago used to use that. It didn't work for her it won't work here. No denied anything. Bit Torrent for legal uses would work just fine and unhindered.

Now I agree with you that 99% of the torrent sites out there are are facilitating copyright infringement but that doesn't stop a software company from using Bit Torrent to distribute the Free binaries of online game that you pay subscription fee to play. They could continue using Bit Torrent no matter how many illegal sites get shut down.
