Report: Big boost for blogs in 2004

Relationship by Machine: Hummmmm, perhaps the person of whom you speak finds updating the blog preferable to the company he or she was invited to join.

Do you have some formal training in psychology? It is true that some people can deal with interpersonal relationships easier at a distance (vis-a-vis a blog) than in person. But, at least the blogger is getting some interpersonal input, which is better than spending time playing idiot war, spy, and other kill something games with faceless opponents. At least they get their thoughts and feelings out, which is better than hibernating in front of the TV and bottleing them up.

As pointed out in another reply from a different poster, blogs are another source of information, and with all the misinformation out there from the various news media and folks who misinterpret what they read or hear, one needs all the input possible to try and ferret out the truth.
