Not necessarily. At the site to which I referred in my response to u_u above, it appears that the authors are trying to attract folks to political issues. Whether or not it's taken at a personal level is left as an exercise for the reader.

Those who do take it at a more personal level tend to be those who post more frequently on the forums - kinda like around here :o)

Note that with 82 million visits, only a tiny fraction choose to post in the forums at that site.
