Id consider Firefox equal if it gets CSS and layers right.
Firefox is a nice browser. If anyone has ever used IE and wants to check out an alternative its the best one in terms of compatibility.

With that said, however, my issues with Firefox come with some problems it still has dealing with CSS and layers. Also, even though active x is MS specific, it shoudl be able to support web applications that use active x as well as java.

For example, we use a very sophisticated web based data mining tool at our work which uses a mix of technologies inclusing java and active x. It runs perfectly in IE, but it wont work in Firefox. Thats the thing about IE. Regardless of IE only tags etc, IE works with a majority of anything you throw at it. Firefox needs the same type of cross compatibility.
