I'll give you high marks for the "mom and dad" reference, and for the humorous reference to yourself as "an advanced computer user". Those were very amusing.

A few points to consider for future satire: 1) Give yourself a "position". For example, start off with, "As the CIO of a Fortune 1000 company..." 2) Make it seem that you have a great deal of influence over Microsoft's actions. For example, instead of "I'm betting heavily on Microsoft...", how about "I'm teaching MS programmers how to..." See? You're suddenly a person of substance! Keep it up, and you'll be as funny as Mike Cox himself!
