Marketscore/IMesh = Bad News
If you (or more likely a kid in your household) has installed IMesh on your computer, then be prepared for some bad news. All SSL traffic ultimately is visible by Marketscore. As part of IMesh's installation, Marketscore is added to IE's Certificate Authority database. They then route all SSL traffic you conduct to a proxy of theirs then reencrypt traffic sending it off to where you ultimately want it to go. The mere fact that the www.marketscore.com domain resides on a Microsoft server (can you say "hack"?) is enough for me to be paranoid. Outside of that possibility a DDoS to Marketscore's SSL proxy will stop SSL traffic for 1 million people. Marketscore is a company capitalizing on the extreme ignorance of most computer users (and the quick trigger finger of youth which is rather blissful when it comes to P2P software).

I also don't lend any credance to Marketscore's touting that they've been audited and are merely compiling aggregate data. In a nutshell I don't want my or my customer's data passing though a third party who itself may somehow be compromised. It basically becomes a single point of failure (from a security breach standpoint) for a lot of people... 1 million to be precise.

If you or a relative has installed IMesh on your computer, get rid of it.
