You are probably right George if it goes that far
What this really shows though is that $10.00 per occurance fine is no deterence to the spammers. The law is on the books and the spammers go on. There is groups of money to be made by these marketing groups and the odds of getting caught or sued is slim. Now if more ISP's attack the same way then we might see a reduction in spam.

What I'd like to see is some lawyers commercial on TV that says something like, "Have you been spammed? Is spam clogging your servers? Are you an ISP that is sick and tired of customer complaints? Then call Oui, Cheetem & Howe and we will fry those spammers. You do not pay till a judgement is made."

Sick the ambulance chasers on them and then watch the spammers slip into oblivion. Now that would be justice create laws empowering those guys.
