FORECAST FOR MICROSOFT WHEN THEY HAVE TO EXPENSE STOCK OPTIONS
Although not directly related to the Firefox story, there is a strong link between IE's weakness, and Microsoft's bottom line.

I just saw this news:

http://www.usatoday.com/money/companies/regulation/2004-12-16-fasb-options_x.htm

assuming this actually comes to pass, won't this severely harm Microsoft's (and 3com, oracle, Sun, and so on) reported profitability?

www.billparish.com has been saying this loophole has allowed pyramid schemes in these companies for some years.
