Finally Exploiting Tagging
The value of tagging is long known in library science but is rarely use in search engines. In text repositories, it was convenient to mistake ?pieces of content? for ?description of content?. The apparent success of that oversimplification is making billions of serious information seekers pay through ?manual search of long lists of hits? or ?give up finding?.

Thanks to the pictures, video and speech and Mika Salmi, designers are now forced to recognize the difference. And thanks to Jeff Weiner, Bradley Horowitz for finding a solution, which I hope will also be applied to text repositories.

Large scale benefits will accrue if the syndicate of content developers and the search service providers create, edit and control a typed (colored) and weighted graph of meta-tags, which will be used for tagging any content manually or interactively or automatically. Details on request.
