Business practices should never be altered at the demands of crooks taking the product without paying for it.

Walmart comes to town breaking labour laws left and right in an effort to undersell any competition. Do you change you business practices or do you go out of business?

You might not like the way things are going but choosing not to change will cost you. Times change, thinking changes, everything changes. You adapt or die. A good successful business spots change, both good and bad, then adapts. Bad businesses either don't recognize the change or resist the change causing them to go out of business.

This isn't about right or wrong. It purely about what a business should do when faced with adversity be it legal or illegal. I know I'd not wait for government to solve my problems because if I did it would be too little too late. Better to figure a way to profit now then let my business tubes waiting for use laws and court cases.
