That isn't saying very much...
I dunno, for some reason I just didn't like the Google Desktop Search... I can't put my finger on exactly why that is.

I've been using Copernic Desktop search for a while. It built the index in the background, (but unlike Windows search, the indexing process didn't eat the entire resources of the CPU) and the searches return results almost as fast as you can type in the keywords, even on my home PC with an index of 425,000+ documents and more than 11 million keywords.
