I have looked these up, and guess what, the Maxion site, that I found, sold (NOT FREE) applications to fill all those holes that I pointed out that were included in IE because MS left SECURITY out of its development. This is a point that you have never addressed at all within this thread, have you Anton?

Another point that you have manage to evade or avoid is that people are trying and liking FireFox becuase security was a very important criterion for their decision. The tabbed browsing and other features (that you try to explain as an opportunity for developers because MS left them out - LOL) are just more reasons why people are recognizing that IE is old, tired, and poorly implemented.

You have responded with a posting titled "Difficult for you to have a productive argument..." That appears to be a personal problem, Anton. It's not the fault of others that you completely ignore their points and continue to apologize for MS.

BTW I have shown way more respect for you in my posts than you for me. As for "complexity and contingency," I have found little of this in your post as well as little criticism by you for MS.

OLT I am using Opera (paid mode) and now FireFox as I recognized the urgent need to eliminate any reliance on IE many years ago. It's been an easy and fruitful decision and one that I won't reverse as I found no reason to ever, ever trust MS for quality, security, or respect for its customers. This decision has nothing to do with any fervent or zealous conviction for OSS. It's due solely to the fact that OSS is the only viable alternative at this time as MS has thoroughly crushed any competition. The scary thing, for you any way, is that this tide is changing and MS is facing its biggest challenges ever. I expect that they will do the only thing that they know how to do, and their legions of lawyers will be banging on the gates soon.
