I suppose if you put enough rose-colored tint on your glasses and narrow your vision to the famous MS 1 degree you could see it that way. The rest of the world sees it as MS attempt at customer lock-in, price gouging and a never ending upgrade (term used very loosely here) treadmill. Unfortunately for you and MS the courts see it as anti-competitive behavior and all the lawsuits MS has lost since then simply reinforce the facts. MS continues to gouge customers, advertise brochureware (longhorn, long awaited yet never coming) and constantly reminds everyone the harm MS continues to cause developers and customers. Tell me, what company, other than MS, lied to developers about licensing? What company, other than MS left their developers personally liabel for using MS software? MS cares nothing about customers or developers. Once they get your cash you are on your own. At the office and in the courtroom. How many MS developers have been forced into the courtroom or to pay settlements from using MS developer tools and MS software? Timeline ring a bell? Name a single OSS developer or distributor that has ever left its customers hanging out in the breeze the way MS does. Just one.

Exactly how does Firefox prevent developers from doing anything? You use a wide brush to paint a gloomy picture of OSS despite the fact your ideaology has been shown to be faulty every time you attempt to advance it and you've yet to show a single example. Much like axey, you're all puff, no facts.

Typical response from an overly sensitive MS user. Reminds me of a battered spouse. Won't leave but hates the situation. There is a real life away from MS. Just go to your nearest OSS shelter. Once your self-esteem returns maybe some sensibilities will too. The prospects are rather dim, though.

Just wait around, axey will soon come to your rescue. Then, with your security blanket you can chant over and over how much you love MS. Perhaps someday you will stop deceiving yourself. Some do, some don't. Denial is not a river in Egypt.
