Who pays?
---What I am saying is lets get the real facts on the table for all to see. Now htere is no way you can convince me that is a bad thing.---

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm saying that it's a very expensive thing, something that in your way of doing it would cost the accused a great deal of time and money and would significantly alter their product. Don't we presume innocence until proven guilty? Here you're forcing measures on them just to get the facts for the trial.

Also, I don't think the specifics really matter. Companies like Big Champagne have pretty good estimates. No one, including Sharman, disputes that the majority of what gets sent over their network is infringed property. What good would an expensive modification to their product do other than tell you what you already know?

---As far as other ways to spread personal information, none of them have an audiance of 60 million nor is it easy to do.---

You're telling me that less than 60 million people have phones? Web access? E-mail? Sorry, those things are all a lot bigger than p2p networks. If you really want to stomp down on the spread of information with an iron boot, those are bigger fish than Kazaa.
