Again, no, gun locks are not required everywhere. Just in select states.

Again, no, they were not forced to alter the product in any way whatsoever. All that was required in some states was for them to throw in an additional piece of plastic, completely separate from the actual product that did not change in any way. Use of that piece of plastic is completely optional and up to the purchaser.

Is that what you're proposing for Kazaa? Not alter Kazaa in any way, but have them also include a separate program that will prevent abuse, but whether it is installed is entirely up to the user?
