Man I was hoping someone would step in to it.

This is not about infringing code, and even you should be able to grasp it. But be that as it may, Microsoft has indeed been forced to allow their code to be reviewed by the courts to determine functinality and interoperability.

Care to try again???

Oh and as to your rant about guns... Every hand gun sold in the US is required by law to have a lock on it for public safety. Every new hand gun sold must be registered and even used guns sold by a dealer must be registered. (Gee, are you catching on yet???)
