MS Fear??
I was raised on MS since the DOS days. I am accustomed to their products and know the do's and don'ts. IE is a great browser that was too far ahead of it's time. Security now needs to catch up to functionality, across all browsers. I think Firefox is the best thing to happen in the industry in some time. I use both and like some of the features of FF better than IE. FF will grow to gain a larger share as time passes. That will force MS to either drop out of the browser war or jump into it full-force. They definately stagnated over the past few years. I can't wait to see where this goes but anyway to get to the point...

Why did you bring Linux into this. The article and topic at hand have nothing to do with the Linux community. Also, why is competition a bad thing? I personally want to see MS sweat a little to push them to produce more advanced products. I can't wait for level playing field so we can see some of the best products ever by all sides. The only thing I don't agree with is the type of ad being run. Targetting the Windows end-user would be my direction. Not a "insiders" page of thanks.
