Killing me is one thing. Still that does not take my
freedom away from me. Yes they might kill me, and that fear
might make me less free...but as long as I live, and live free then
dying is not so big a deal too me at least. We all die..not all of
us have the courage nore the strength to live free yes even in
this country.

So Patriot Act. Well I'm told (Using the old Nazi era slogan) show
my papers (license) when I got to my bank..the one I've been
using for over 5 years now and all the tellers know who I am to
get some cash back..because it's related to the Patriot Act. Now
you might consder being watched not such a bad thing or ant
freedom. However Spoon my old friend the point of freedom
and what makes us who we are is NOT that we can NOT make
bad decisions and we can be controled but freedom and what
makes us who we are is the fact that with FREEDOM we get to
make decisions and those decisioins those actions we take or do
NOT take as the case may be make us the men and women that
we are. IF by keeping a constant and observat eye on us..the
ever pressence watching government strips our ability to choose
who we are to be good or bad..then I consider myself LESS free.
That is now...history has proven time and again that with power
comes corruption and as far as I can tell the people in
Washington are stil human beings. Give them more power over
the populace and just watch the fun. I'd go on but I'm working
on a way to forge my license and change a few numbers:)

The only thing I would have change about the food for oil was
that we in fact gave them the food and controled it's distribution
not just money to spend as they choose for the oil. However
given that the program pretty much worked. Saddam was
unable to rebuild his military and was pretty much a push over
when we invaded. Like pro football team taking on a local and
not talented High School team.

Killing me is NOT taking away my freedom..I will live and die a
fee man. And I would gladly live but a single day free in
exchange for a 100 years in bondage.
